Our Story
Faith. Service. Meat.
Welcome to Inferno Acres – where faith, family, and a healthy dose of fire keep everything running (sometimes literally).
Long before this place was a bustling kid-and-livestock circus, Mandy was growing up on her grandparents' farm, spending her days in 4-H, rodeo arenas, show barns, and her grandpa's beef herd. She headed to Kansas State University to study Pre-Vet and Animal Nutrition with a minor in Genetics…until she decided to swap textbooks for a flight helmet and join the U.S. Army so they'd pay for college later. Eight years as a Chinook Crew Chief will teach you a lot—mostly how to do hard things with a smile. Steve, on the other hand, didn't grow up with livestock. As an Air Force brat turned soldier at 18, he figured he was prepared for anything—until Mandy came along. He married her in April 2011, three days before they both shipped off to Afghanistan for a year, and has been enabling her "just one more animal" habit ever since.
After welcoming their first child in 2012 (with five more to follow!), Mandy flat-out refused to feed her kids store-bought meat. She'd been raised on her grandpa's beef and could taste the difference. So the family started a tiny farm to fill their own freezer. Then the kids got involved. Emma fell in love with the sheep, pigs, and horses. Eli became king of the poultry. Daphney claimed the goats. Felicity creates just about everything. Dawson is all about the pigs, and little Leeli proudly makes mud pies with them. As each child found their niche, the farm grew right alongside them.
Today, Inferno Acres is focused on raising quality livestock—not just for our own family, but for yours as well. We specialize in show-quality and replacement breeding stock, feeder animals, and bulk meat shares, with an emphasis on genetics, structural correctness, sound health, and practical performance. Whether you're looking for your next show prospect, breeding addition, freezer animal, or a farm-raised bulk meat share, we strive to produce animals we'd be proud to keep ourselves.
Our operation is built on the same values that started it all: faith, hard work, stewardship, and raising our animals the right way. We're grateful God entrusted us with this land and these animals, and we consider it a privilege to help other families build their own herds, stock their freezers, and enjoy the rewards of responsibly raised livestock.
Thanks for stopping by—we're glad you're here.
